Went for lunch, and the meal was delicious. Menu isn't massive either, which is a plus, but what they had looked really good, as you do, always check out what meals they bring to tables around you. Staff were very friendly and helpful and not pushy for us to leave either even though they were busy never once felt under pressure to leave. Has a brilliant farm shop there too, so if you do end up getting totally carried away with chatting over lunch, you can always pick up something while you are there.

It was okay, they had some basic groceries you might need if you were staying/camping near by and some cute jams, biscuits etc. The cafe was very basic, the building used to be a pub and outside still looks very much the same. The food was traditional and homey. We didn't stay because it was taking a while for someone to come and take our order, but one of our party needed the loo. Their loo was upstairs, so inaccessible for her. The cafe is small, tables were quite busy, I think perhaps it is used by locals. It has its own parking.

Lovely place for a lunch and cake. Friendly staff, reasonably priced food and a wide selection of delicious homemade cakes. A nice alternative to the pubs and bars.

Wow!!! Ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to my Auntie's home for her 70th birthday. The Olive tree was recommended to me via the local F/B group as I live in Chester. My Auntie was made up with it she said all of it was absolutely delicious.👌 I couldn't believe the amount of food there was & so varied. Unbelievable value for money. Thank you so very much..

Great food, atmosphere and service. We came to the Peak District and tried this place out on the way. With it being a Mediterranean style name, it attracts a large Latin community that is incredibly welcoming, bubbly and friendly. The food itself was great quality and we tried to infamous Derbyshire Oat Cakes which taste super delicious and healthy!

Great location it looks like a pub but it’s a farm shop 👍 you can buy beer in a bottle and cakes it’s a mix of a deli shop a farm shop an off licence. And a local gift shop And a cafe. If you are passing you have to stop in. Plenty car park space. Don’t drive past and not pop in you are missing a treat.
